fakta 1: antara negeri-negeri di andalusia, saya paling suka cordoba. dan saya paling sayang puente romano. bukan sebab saya yang lead kat sini tapi yang saya perasan mungkin sebab cordoba ni kawasan small city cam brugges. satu malam pun boleh habiskan tour~! =D

fakta 2: sampai je petang tu, kami check in dan bergegas ke puente romano (roman bridge), dengan harapan dapat tengok sunset. kalau ikut mr. google, sunset kat puente romano sangat cantik. but then, i think mungkin hari tu agak cloudy, we couldnt see much~

fakta 3: i didnt expect that cordoba is this small, then we kept walking as if we wanted to finish the tour in a night~! kesian kat semua orang kepenatan. dah kena perli-perli baru la saya ambil keputusan untuk balik hotel and everyone had their rest~

fakta 4: emotionally exhausted, saya keluar semula amik angin malam tu kat puente romano, my favourite place. masa tu perasaan dah bercampur baur. mungkin sebab ni first time saya lead a group for a visit. dah la tak reti cerita cam izzah. macam apa je. haha~ iadah 2 juz and plan a little for tomorrow, i made my way back to hotel.

fakta 5: the next day, kami ke medina azzahra. 30 minutes from the bus stop to the foothill of sierra morena and spent about 3 hours there. medina azzahra ni sort of like alhambra but smaller than it. built by caliph abd rahman III of cordoba.

fakta 6: pembinaan medina azzahra ni as a political reason as well as a tribute to his woman, azahara. saya ada terbaca, sweet tak sweet caliph abd rahman III ni, dia arahkan sekeliling bukit tu ditanam dengan pokok cherry blossom coz azahara ni asal syria and she missed the snow at her homeland. then he said,
"it will snow for you, my dear azahara. it will snow for you~" ^^,

fakta 7: then kami ke masjid cordoba yang telah di 'cathedral' kan. sangat sedih kot bila masuk mezquita-cathedral tu. great mosque of cordoba ni asal sebuah church. tapi bila islam datang ke cordoba, umayyad prince, abd rahman 1 benarkan another church dibina di tempat lain dan tapak asal church yang musnah tadi dibina masjid yang dipanggil masjid cordoba. but then bila spain dikuasai semula oleh christians, mereka bina cathedral ditengah-tengah masjid cordoba and now known as mezquita-cathedral~

fakta 8: oh ya~! depan mezquita ni ada patio orange. yang saya perasan, spain banyak guna pokok orange sebagai pokok hiasan. memang cantik la tapi macam membazir kot buah-buah tu. i spoke to the locals and they said that we could just eat the oranges if we want. i did try at seville but i spit it back. pahit~! =,=!

fakta 9: then, kami ke calahorra tower. tower ni dikatakan dibina oleh enrique II to defend from his brother, pedro 1 the cruel. this tower is also known as andalus museum. in the 18th century, it was a prison. in the 19th, it was a girls' school and in the 20th it was a Roger Garaudy museum of 3 cultures: jewish, christian and muslims~

fakta 10: malam tu kami(?) shopping and had a tour outside of this main small city. bahagian luar dari wallnut gate cordoba ni membangun je. macam bandar-bandar biasa. jauh jugak kami jalan menjenguk temple romano, park and tower of the wrongly killed woman. memang balik hotel lewat malam jugak la and kaki memang ada tanda-tanda nak tercabut~ =D

fakta 11: pagi-pagi selepas subuh, saya ke favourite place saya. tengok sunrise. the others cam tak berminat so i made my way alone. heaven sangat pagi tu. mungkin ni kali terakhir saya datang puente romano ni. almost two hours jugak kat sana~ ^_^

fakta 12: sebelum check out, kami ke alcazar of the christian monarch. alcazar ni dibina sebagai tempat tinggal isabel dan ferdinand. yang uniknya, alcazar ni ada islamic features. yang saya pernah terbaca, alcazar ni juga dibina untuk menandingi masjid cordoba. as if, masjid cordoba tu identiti muslims, they wanted the alcazar to be their identity~

fakta 13: kami kemudian ke royal caliph bath and royal stables sebelum check out dan bertolak ke destinasi yang seterusnya. cordoba, you'll always be my favourite place~! ^_^
